At Cook Solutions Group (CSG), we are dedicated to providing our clients in the banking, credit union, and commercial sectors with cutting-edge security solutions that not only protect their assets but also ensure the safety of their employees, customers, members & executive protection. In our ongoing effort to deliver the best in the market, we are thrilled to announce a new product, smashed, forced entry bullet and riot resistant glass laminate, a leader in advanced security laminates and protection technologies.
Glass Laminate is a cost-effective solution that transforms existing window glass into strong defense against multiple types of attacks. The different layers of laminate buy valuable time to allow patrons to contact law enforcement.
Bullet-resistant laminate is applied onsite, to the INTERIOR of existing windows in commercial, municipal, and residential buildings. Unlike traditional smash resistant glass, no special modifications or retrofitting to existing structures is required. As our laminate may be applied over existing glass as thin as ¼ inch, customers achieve their end goal of hardening their structure at a significant cost savings to traditional SR glass.
*Existing windows must be inspected to be structurally sound. Window must be free from debris and thoroughly cleaned prior to application.

Importantly, our solution requires no special modifications or retrofitting.
Bullet and riot-resistant glass laminate plays a critical role in safeguarding individuals, property, and assets against a range of physical threats, contributing significantly to overall security and safety measures in various environments.
The primary purpose of bullet and riot-resistant glass laminate is to provide protection against physical threats such as bullets, impacts from objects, or riot situations. This glass is designed to withstand high-velocity impacts, reducing the risk of penetration and injury behind the glass.
In environments where security is paramount, such as banks, government buildings, or high-security facilities, bullet and riot-resistant glass adds an extra layer of security. It acts as a deterrent against potential attacks and helps maintain safety for individuals inside.
In riot or protest situations, this type of glass can protect against projectiles like rocks, bricks, or Molotov cocktails. It helps maintain public safety by minimizing the risk of injury or property damage during civil disturbances.
By installing bullet and riot-resistant glass, businesses and organizations can mitigate risks associated with armed robbery, terrorism, or civil unrest. This proactive approach to security can reduce insurance liabilities and protect assets.
While providing high levels of protection, modern bullet and riot-resistant glass laminates also consider functionality. They can be engineered to maintain optical clarity, offer UV protection, and even be designed to resist forced entry attempts beyond just ballistic threats.
In some industries or jurisdictions, certain security standards mandate the use of bullet and riot-resistant glass in specific contexts. Compliance with these regulations ensures that businesses or organizations meet necessary safety requirements.
